Dan Hite serves as Regional Director for Mitec, where he oversees the growth and expansion of the company throughout the United States. Dan joined Mitec in 1998 and was promoted to Vice President in 2003. In 2021, he was appointed to his current position.
With more than 25 years of general construction and fire safety industry experience, Dan is licensed by the State of Texas as a Fire Alarm Systems Planner, a Fire Extinguisher System Planner, and a Texas Private Security Qualified Manager. Additionally, Dan has earned the highest certification level granted by NICET for Fire Protection Engineering Technology in Fire Alarm Systems and is also NICET-certified in Fire Protection Technology in Special Hazards and Sprinkler Systems. Active in several industry organizations, Dan is a member of BOMA, IREM and NFPA.
Dan holds a degree in Business Management from Harding University’s College of Business.
Ron Ording serves as Senior Vice President for Mitec, where he is responsible for company expansion into the southeastern United States. Ron joined Mitec in 1996 as an Account Manager and was promoted to Vice President in 1999. In 2009, Ron assumed his current role.
Ron is a fire protection professional with nearly 47 years of experience in the fire and life safety industry. Prior to Mitec, Ron worked for a national fire alarm company where he gained inspection, service, installation and sales experience across multiple markets.
Ron is a graduate of ETI with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. He also holds a NICET Level IV Certification, as well as numerous factory and industry certifications and licenses. Ron is actively involved with BOMA and IREM in multiple states. He is also an active member of NFPA.
Andrew Poe serves as the Controller for Mitec, overseeing the accounting and finance functions of the company.
Andrew joined Mitec in August of 2021. His prior experience is in public accounting in the construction, facilities services, and manufacturing industries within the private markets.
He is a graduate of Georgia College and State University with an undergraduate and graduate degree in accounting.
He lives with his wife in Lawrenceville and enjoys traveling to new places and reading in his spare time.
Rebecca Sills serves as the Branch Manager of our Mitec Dallas office. She most recently was the Senior Account Manager in Dallas and was responsible for the sales division as well as overseeing our account base for contract retention and sales growth in that office. Rebecca joined Mitec in 2008 and was promoted to Senior Account Manager in 2022. She has been a leader in the Dallas office and is responsible for a big part of Mitec’s growth in that market.
She has nearly 30 years of sales experience combined with fire safety industry experience. Rebecca is also NICET-certified in Fire Alarm Systems.
Brandon Craig serves as Director of Tenant & Integrated Sales for Mitec, where he manages the Tenant Development Sales Team and helps Mitec develop organizationally across all markets. Brandon joined Mitec in 2007 in TDP Sales and in 2016 took on a dual role when promoted to TDP Sales Manager and Integrated Systems Sales in Atlanta.. In 2020 he was appointed to his current position.
Brandon has been in the electrical/commercial construction field for 20 years. He holds a NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems along with other certifications in Fire Alarm, Access Control, and Video.
Andrew Reno serves as Director of Purchasing for Mitec, where he is responsible of overseeing the procurement operations for all offices in the United States, evaluating current market conditions and trends to develop short and long-range plans for the success of the company.
Joining the Mitec team in 2009 as an inspector, he has over thirteen years’ experience in the fire and life safety industry. He holds the Texas State Fire Alarm and Extinguisher licenses.
Prior to his Mitec career, Andrew served in the United States Army where life experiences helped develop his strong work ethic, motivation, and leadership skills.
Matt Dillon Operations Manager for Mitec Atlanta, Joined the company in July 2022.
Matt has over 30 years in the fire life safety business. Prior to Mitec, Matt worked for a national integration company where he oversaw the operations of multiple markets for installation and service.
Matt has a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from ITT and a Master Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University as well as having numerous factory and industry certifications.
Mark Jeter serves as the Pye-Barker Fire & Safety Compliance Manager for the Duluth, GA / Irving, TX / Birmingham, AL offices.
He joined the company in January of 2017.

Mark has worked in the Fire & Security Industry since 1995. His strengths and experience are with Operations management on a National level. Over his career, Mark has been licensed in multiple states and also holds several Certifications within the Commercial Fire Alarm Industry. Including ISN, NTS, NFPA, NBFAA and BOMA.
Brad Brewer serves as the Operations Manager for the Mitec Dallas Office. His most recent role was Installation Manager overseeing the production of the Tenant development and Integrated Systems installation teams.
Brad has over 18 years of experience in the Fire Alarm industry. His fire alarm career began in 2005 at Mitec as an assistant technician. While majority of his time has been in the installation department, he has also worked in the service and inspection departments.
Brad has multiple certifications in the fire alarm industry. He currently has his Texas portable extinguisher license, Texas Alarm Planning License and holds NICET Level III in Fire Alarm Systems and Level I in Special Hazards.
Matt Ording is a Senior Account Manager for Mitec, where he is responsible for managing a portfolio of Mitec customers and the Atlanta account manager team. Matt joined Mitec in 2005 as a fire alarm inspector. He was promoted to an Account Manager in 2008 and a Senior Account Manager in 2018.
Matt has been in the fire alarm industry for 15+ years. During his time in the industry, he has learned about various aspects of fire alarm and life safety systems. His field experience gained while performing inspections laid a strong groundwork for his transition into account management. Matt still manages accounts with Mitec customers that he met during his days of performing fire alarm system inspections.
Matt currently holds a NICET Level II Fire Alarm certification.
Alex Shammas serves as a Senior Account Manager where he is responsible for managing a large portfolio of accounts in our Atlanta office and also works in our Charlotte and Birmingham branches to help further grow those markets.
Alex joined Mitec in 1994 and has over 28 years of experience in the fire alarm and life safety industry which includes working in Inspections, Installation, Account Management and Management. Alex currently holds NICET Certification and is actively involved with BOMA and IREM in multiple Mitec markets.
