BRYAN A. SHAVER

President, Chief Operating Officer

BRYAN A. SHAVER

Bryan Shaver serves as President and Chief Operating Officer for Mitec, where he oversees the growth and expansion of the company throughout the United States. Bryan joined Mitec in 1990 and was promoted to Vice President in 1997. In 2001, he was appointed to his current position.

As an active proponent in fire safety training, Bryan has received commendations from various institutions, including being recognized by the Atlanta Fire Department’s Fire Safety Division for his leadership role. Bryan is also a member of several industry organizations, including the National Fire Protection Association, and he holds industry licenses in various states.

Bryan is an alumnus of Guilford College and a graduate of Emory University's Goizueta Business School Executive Program.

PENNY T. JOLLY

Chief Financial Officer

PENNY T. JOLLY

Penny Jolly serves as Chief Financial Officer for Mitec, where she plays a key role in the growth and management of the company. Penny joined Mitec in 1991 and has served as the Chief Financial Officer since 1994.

Active in her community, Penny participates in volunteer work that helps enrich the lives of others through education and self-improvement. She is also as an avid animal lover, working with several volunteer organizations over the years to help homeless animals.

Penny is a magna cum laude graduate of Mercer University, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting.

RON ORDING

Sr. Vice President

RON ORDING

Ron Ording serves as Senior Vice President for Mitec, where he is responsible for company expansion into the southeastern United States. Ron joined Mitec in 1996 as an Account Manager and was promoted to Vice President in 1999. In 2009, Ron assumed his current role.

Ron is a fire protection professional with nearly 40 years of experience in the fire and life safety industry. Prior to Mitec, Ron worked for a national fire alarm company where he gained inspection, service, installation and sales experience across multiple markets.

Ron is a graduate of ETI with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. He also holds a NICET Level IV Certification, as well as numerous factory and industry certifications and licenses. Ron is actively involved with BOMA, IREM and IFMA in multiple states.

JON HARMON

Vice President, Operations

JON HARMON

Jon Harmon is Vice President of Operations, where he oversees safety, training and asset management for all offices, as well as day-to-day operations and development of the Project Management, Engineering & Design, Installation and Inspection groups. Jon joined Mitec in 2003 as Operations Manager and plays a key role in the company’s field processes, quality, personnel development and asset management.

Jon has more than 25 years of management experience within various low voltage industries, including fire and security alarm systems, presentation technologies, audio-visual and electronics in commercial, retail and B2B environments.

Jon is licensed in multiple states, NICET Level III certified in Fire Protection Engineering Technology, OSHA certified, and a member of the National Fire Protection Association and the Automatic Fire Alarm Association.

DAN HITE

Vice President, Dallas

DAN HITE

Dan Hite serves as the Managing Partner of Mitec’s Dallas, Texas, office, where he is responsible for company expansion into the southwestern United States. Dan joined Mitec in 1998 and was promoted to Vice President in 2003.

With more than 16 years of general construction and fire safety industry experience, Dan is licensed by the State of Texas as a Fire Alarm Systems Planner, a Fire Extinguisher System Planner, and a Texas Private Security Qualified Manager. Additionally, Dan has earned the highest certification level granted by NICET for Fire Protection Engineering Technology in Fire Alarm Systems and is also NICET-certified in Fire Protection Technology in Special Hazards and Sprinkler Systems. Active in several industry organizations, Dan is a member of BOMA, IREM and NFPA.

Dan holds a degree in Business Management from Harding University’s College of Business.
